HaPpY BiRtHdAy LaReN!!!!

Well, Friday was my sweetpea's 9th birthday! Man does time go W A Y too fast! Seems like it was yesterday when I was sitting in that hospital bed holding our brand new little baby girl in my arms and seeing the world in her eyes.

We celebrated here at the house with just us on Friday evening and she opened her gifts from us. Her main gift was a pretty new guitar! She has been learning to play from my Step dad out at their house when she goes out there. As soon as we saw her interest in that we knew just what to get her! As luck would have it, we were flipping through and stopped on HSN when we saw Esteban on there showing off this beautful black guitar!! As we watched we also found out that it came with lots of dvd's with lessons and all kinds of different songs to learn to play, a chord chart, the case, extra strings and an amplifier! It's a acoustic electric! So...as soon as we saw that it was on the FLEX PAY payment option....we were sold! We have had that thing hidden in our closet since MAY! haha So it was so much fun to finally get to give it to her yesterday. When she opened it she looked up and said, "This is the best birthday ever!"

Instead of a cake we made brownies for this mini pre-party! haha and YUM they were very delicious! Hee Hee....

For her party we made cupcakes and they were a hit also.

We had her party at Peter Piper Pizza here in town. Having a birthday over summer break is hard becuase SO many people are out of town, but we still had a good group come to help us celebrate! She had three friends and two of her cousins there and they all had a great time playing games, getting loot with all of their tickets and eating pizza, and of course, the cupcakes!!

It was also nice because both sets of grandparents also came along with Marty, Ric and Shandi. So we grownups had fun too!

When we got home Laren was all tuckered out! I snapped this picture of her laying in the floor! haha
