Well if you live around here you already know how our 4th of July was.....windy, dusty and for the lucky ones, RAINY. Our fireworks got cancelled due to the horrible dusty winds that blew in right in time for it to start, as predicted by local weather people. We were down there long enough for the girls to go down one water slide, then here it came. We saw it moving in, but decided to go and chance it anyway. B
y the time we got back to the truck we felt like we had been sand-blasted! haha visibility was very low. Parts of the valley got good rainfall amounts, including my mom who is Northwest of us...but not us. Not a drop! Anyway, here are some pictures that we were able to get. Got alot of the clouds, as they were pretty cool looking.

Luckily all was not lost, earlier in the day we took the girls and one of Laren's friends to the pool so we had at least some fun! They went down the waterslide and had a good time.
