Happy Valentine's Day

We had a fun Friday beginning with the Family Picnic at Laren's School. They did this last year too, and it is so fun. Parents and family/friends get to come and have lunch with the kids and sit outside with blankets picnic style! The kids got an extended recess and of course they enjoyed that.

Then was the class party where they shared treats and exchanged their valentines. There were some really cute ones to include the iLove iPod conversation hearts that seem to be popular this year. Laren took our favorite cinnamon/sugar popcorn! I spent the morning decorating the bags and popping pop corn. It was a big hit with the kids, and the moms! So, needless to say I was at the school off and on all day long.

Then, we came home to find that Brent had surprises for us! We were not expecting anything, especially a day early! Laren got some candy and two adorable teddy bears and a great card. I got red roses and a beautiful card.

It was a fun day. We cooked some steaks on the grill and had a great dinner afterward.
