Laren had her big yearly dance recital yesterday and last night. The theme this year was "Dancing Around the World" so they had dances and (adorable!) costumes from all over. The girls worked hard all year and it showed in both shows.
This year Laren was in two dances and in both shows. She was in Hip Hop/Jazz again so that was one of them, and she also took on tap this year. She was the only one in her class who was a first-year tapper, the rest of them have done it for several or many years. She did a WONDERFUL job and kept up with the rest of them. It was an Irish tap, and awesome! Many thought it was the best in the whole show. I loved them all though, of course. We got the DVD, and they won't let you do your own or photos. so like last year I got some shots of rehearsals.
Laren plans to take Tap again next year!
